We just moved it here from ~TAST-AD because the name was rather wierd and misunderstandable.
And for a limited time we are putting the now-empty space up for auction to the highest bidder. If that, of course, is legal.
Anyway, this is a community for deviants who are of sub-Saharan African or Afro-Diasporian (ie, African American, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Jamaican) ancestry. It also serves as a community for deviants who might not be of any sort of African ancestry, but are nice enough to contribute deviations based in their subject on such history.
This is not a "right on, my brotha!" club. The hell it isn't. What is is, I just mentioned to you, so if you intend to make this a socio-political organization where you want revenge against "the man", then there might be another club for you.
Just not this one.

We desperately need an icon and an ID, so if you are kind enough to contribute one to this club, we'd really appreciate it. And it has to include either one of these combinations of colors:
Red, Black, and Green (Kwanzaa colors)
Red, Black, and Yellow (national colors of Ethiopia and also religious colors of Rastafarianism)
Black, Yellow and Green (National colors of Jamaica and party colors of the ANC in South Africa)
Red, Black, Green, and Yellow (national colors of Ghana)
Red and Blue (National Colors of Haiti)
Thanx!

Why so long there are no news?
We wait!

I think you should free the "dark skin" of the "dark".
I mean, I'm pale as any European, still my father is African American. And I'm not the only African Diasporian who came out like that.
and many in my own family can sympathize with your explanation, such as my 2nd youngest niece, whose father is European (i think that "white" is as much a misnomer as "black" when referring to the race/color of a person).
however, I was only expressing the fact that most people who are of African ancestry generally possess darker skin, if not necesarily dark (or then again, that in itself could be a stereotype). yet i see your point, so i went ahead and deleted "dark" from the quoted statement.
